Butterfly and Pupa

We came back to school and found our mealworms had turned into PUPAS! and...
One of our Chrysalis had turned into a butterfly.
Butterflies hang upside down when they hatched to dry and strengthen their wings.

One has hatched and 5 more to go!

This is the 3rd stage of beetle development.
